The Minimal Staircase

1. Felix gave me the idea of coming up with a minimal image because he was so interested in such. I decieded to try it and painted a sort of line. I used black to keep the feel if  minimal and aesthetic

2. I croped the line so that I can get a straight block of black that I could then manipilate easily.

3. Since the cropping affected the whole image and made it the background, I decided to duplicate the background.

4. Now I had a black strip that I could move around. Make sure you name this duplicate so that it does not get confusing.

5. since the original background still had the small black strip at the end, I painted the whole background white to keep the consistency.

6. I kept on duplicating the black strip layer and naming them to inoder to come up with something. I resized, flipped and rotated the strips.

7. After my first three strips, I knew I could form an abstract staircase. I continued to duplicate and resize, trying to mimic my imagination of minimal stairs as much as possible.

8. Finally I saved my image as JPEG and sent it to felix so that he can add his own personal touch.
