Mocking Jay - unseen

1. I started out with these images from the internet as my primary inspiration for my next project

2. Next, I selected a part of the bluish dress that I then decided to fill in into the white wedding dress. This meant put the small selected part piece by piece onto the wedding dress
3. Them after filling the desired area with the selected pieces, I needed them to look more realistic and blend in. So I decided to change the opacity of all the layers that I was using to neautralize the color and let the patterns blend in

4. Then I had to find a way of putting in the mocking jay wing on katniss. This included a lot of trials and erroe on trying to select her but I saw it better to take out her arm. After selecting on of her arms, I had to right click and select Layer Via Copy so that it could make the selection a layer
5. Afterwards, I carefully placed the wing on her left side and to get the wing to look like it is in the back, you have to go to arrange and send the selected wing layer backward.

6. The wings obviously were not in the correct shape or angle to look convincing to audiences so I had to play around with the transformation tools to get the angle correct

7. What ever I did for the right side wing, I also did for the left side wing. This includes making the selections and moving the layer backward and getting the angles right. Since this wing would be on the other side, the transformation would be inverse to the previous ones
8. Lastly, I had to select the wing layers and first change the colour, since the rest of the image was in black and white. i changed the setting to luminosity and the opacity to 50 percent so that it looked like the whole thing was a photoshoot
